С юности мне был очень близок стиль new look, и я, помню, часто рассматривала фотографии бабушки, где она в молодости в потрясающих платьях из хлопка, и всегда говорила маме: «Почему сейчас не носят такие платья?» И вот, почти через десять лет, я вновь задала себе этот вопрос и решила рискнуть и выпустить свою первую коллекцию именно в этом стиле. Я даже не ожидала, что в такие короткие сроки столько девушек со всего мира полюбят мое творчество!

Perfect: А как вы думаете, одним из слагаемых успеха бренда стало то, что до вас никто не решался сделать основой коллекций длинные, пышные или струящиеся наряды?
Ю. П.: Думаю, да. В какой-то момент все очень устали от чрезмерно «мужского преобладания» в женском гардеробе: джинсов boyfriend, рубашек, брюк. И я думаю, многие девушки подсознательно хотели вернуться к истокам и быть хрупкими и нежными. Ну и каждая девушка, которая хоть раз надевала платье Yulia Prokhorova, уже не могла вернуться к бесформенным джинсам, это правда! (Улыбается.) А как мужчины реагируют на девушку в платье, думаю, не нужно даже рассказывать!

Perfect: Расскажите, пожалуйста, что вас вдохновило на создание новой коллекции 2017 года? Почему почти каждое платье носит женское имя?
Ю. П.: Сейчас очень многие используют имена в названии платьев, но первым, кто это придумал, был наш бренд. Эта идея родилась случайно, когда одна из моих подруг так влюбилась в платье, что дала ему имя. Мы долго смеялись, а потом поняли, что это очень интересная мысль, которая поможет легко ориентироваться клиентам. И сейчас постоянные клиенты знают почти все платья по именам. Новая коллекция посвящена свободе и легкости, в этом сезоне моя героиня немного взбалмошная и дурашливая, готовая к приключениям и путешествиям!

Perfect: Когда вы перешли от онлайн-торговли к открытию собственного бутика не где-нибудь, а на легендарном Кузнецком Мосту, что было самым сложным? Вы строгий начальник?
Ю. П.: О, это был долгий путь! Сначала у меня был маленький шоу-рум в творческом пространстве artplay, но спрос и поток поклонниц был такой огромный, что уже через два месяца мы открыли три бутика в Москве. Без инвесторов и спонсоров. Команда в то время была тоже очень маленькая, всего пять человек, мы работали по 20 часов в сутки, и, несмотря на усталость и дикую загруженность, я могу сказать — это было чудесное время и забираться на гору лично для меня гораздо интереснее, чем быть на вершине! Сейчас в нашей команде работает около двадцати пяти человек. Я требовательный руководитель, и требовательна в первую очередь сама к себе. Иногда со мной сложно, наверное, но если бы не моя настойчивость и твердость в каких-то моментах, то ничего бы не получилось и не держалось уже пять лет.

Perfect: Какая она, ваша покупательница?
Ю. П.: Нашей покупательницей может быть девушка и женщина совершенно разного возраста, разных профессий и даже национальности. У нас есть постоянные клиентки и 18 и 55 лет из самых разных уголков мира. Что их объединяет… Наверное, любовь к себе! Потому что, чтобы быть прекрасной и чувствовать себя, нужно в первую очередь любить себя!

Perfect: Всего за несколько лет существования бренда вы уже добились очень многого. Какие у вас планы на будущее? Возможно, открыть флагманский бутик где-нибудь в Милане или Париже?
Ю. П.: Планов очень много. Хоть я и не люблю раскрывать секреты заранее, но главными новостями поделюсь. Уже этой весной мы открываем наш бутик в Санкт-Петербурге и Красноярске.
